WELCOME TO MRS. BERNARD'S CLASS!
Hi guys! I hope that you are all doing well! I wish I could have seen you prior to our last day, but I had a couple of sick kids at home that I needed to care for.
Most importantly, I hope that you and your families are staying healthy and feeling well during this time. Sometimes life can throw some unexpected and emotionally difficult curves our way, but it is the way we choose to face those challenges that truly count. This is one of those times, and we will get through it together!
I will be updating my website regularly with links, activities, and other resources to help you navigate this distance learning platform that is new to all of us. We will do the best we can to continue our learning. Please consider your classmates during this time, and how we can virtually help one another out, whether it be with assigned materials or just being a friend while we are cooped up inside.
Over the next week or two, I am going to try and get into our classroom to gather some materials. Continuing our read aloud and Jamestown work is definitely on my radar. Once I have those materials, we can continue to learn about Jamestown, the hardships settlers face, and analyze whether the settlement was more of a success or failure.
I am looking forward to the continuation of our class online at this time. Hopefully we will be back in the classroom before we know it! Stay well, stay rested, be kind, and always remember to smile
